At all times and in all countries, people loved to adorn themselves, and the best way for it were clothes. However, clothing other than aesthetic functions must meet the climatic conditions and tribal traditions. The main factor that influenced oriental clothing of course, was Islam. Therefore, the toilet items were wide, long, intact, called to freely fall and completely cover the human body.

    Robes and Kaftans

One of the first oriental outfits of men and women of the East were robes and kaftans, which necessarily covered their arms and legs, did not fit the body and most importantly, were beautiful and repeated traditional patterns. And the long Kaftan from Turkey with wide and very long sleeves sewed from one-color and striped fabric - half-paper or half-silk, were buttoned and lapped. Dresses that were worn at home and in the street were Robes from Asia - it's a long-to-floor garment, with a small lap and ties on the chest level.

Oriental clothes can be compared to a work of art. Traditional uzbek chapan is a national Uzbek clothing of loose cut without buttons and collar. The lining is usually made of cotton and camel wool. A more solemn version was expanded with gold threads along the most luxurious fabrics, velvet or silk. Today such chapans are a sign of the highest status and are presented as a gift in honor and special respect.

    Uzbek clothing

Classic uzbek clothes, created by talented craftsmen embody not only the best age-old traditions and national color, but also create the most favorable conditions for people. An example is the Uzbek caftans, robes, chapans, which are always comfortable, warm in the cool evenings and cool in the heat. In this way, traditional uzbek clothing continued to preserve features of archaism up to the 20th century. Men's, women's and even children's things were uniform, and practically the same in form and cut.
