A portrait panel of 90 × 120 cm with the family’s cream scalloped rosette and pink centre, here surrounded by red and green flowers that reach into the corners, and framed by a yellow band, a red band and a dark grey outer border. The ground reads black in the photographs; the previous listing called it coffee-brown, and under daylight the two can be hard to tell apart.
Silk thread on cotton, hand-embroidered in Uzbekistan. Newly embroidered for Alesouk in the traditional stitches; it arrives clean, even and bright.
