Fuchsia is the accent here, and it is used three times: in the centre of the cream rosette, in the flower sprays that reach into the corners with green leaves, and as a plain pink band just inside the white-dot border. Against the black cotton ground the pink is loud, as Uzbek synthetic silks are, and the cream rosette calms it. Almost square at 110 × 100 cm.
Silk thread on cotton, hand-embroidered in Uzbekistan. Newly embroidered for Alesouk in the traditional stitches; it arrives clean, even and bright.
