A landscape panel and a different vocabulary from the rosette pieces: two large white scroll motifs, mirror images of each other, curl towards a small pink rosette in the middle of a black cotton ground, with teal filling their inner curves — the previous listing read the pair as a vase, and the close-up photograph will let you decide. A border of cream dots surrounds the field, and the top and bottom edges carry a grey saw-tooth band, which is unusual in this group.
Silk thread on cotton, hand-embroidered in Uzbekistan. Newly embroidered for Alesouk in the traditional stitches; it arrives clean, even and bright.
