A 90 cm square on a magenta cotton ground, covered by a lattice of black diamonds outlined with white dots; inside each diamond sits a small motif in yellow or teal — the previous listing called them teapots, and at close range the shape does suggest a spouted pot, though we would rather you judged from the photograph than took our word. A plain pink band and a dark edge finish it. It is a repeat pattern with no centre, so it can hang either way.
Silk thread on cotton, hand-embroidered in Uzbekistan. Newly embroidered for Alesouk in the traditional stitches; it arrives clean, even and bright.
