A 92 cm square from Tashkent, or in the Tashkent manner: the black cotton ground is divided into horizontal bands, and each band carries a row of roundels — white, then yellow, then green — with small flowers and stems between them. A blue border with white dots frames the square. It is the smallest of the black-ground pieces with a full-field pattern, and the one to choose for a frame.
Silk thread on cotton, hand-embroidered. Newly embroidered for Alesouk in the traditional stitches; it arrives clean, even and bright.
