A small panel built around one motif: a large cream rosette with scalloped petals and a pink-and-red centre, filling most of a black cotton ground, with small sprigs in the corners and a sequence of narrow borders — orange, red, white — stepping out to a dark patterned edge. It is the simplest composition in our suzani section and, at 110 × 90 cm, the easiest to place.
Silk thread on cotton, hand-embroidered in Uzbekistan. Newly embroidered for Alesouk, clean and even.
Note that we have a second panel of the same design, IS0224; the two differ in the centre colour (pink with a white four-petal here, yellow-orange on IS0224) and the corner sprigs (pink and green here, purple and orange there), and each listing’s photographs show its own piece.

Character and use
Hang it portrait on a narrow wall, lay it on a chest or a side table, or stretch it over a board and frame it — at this size the rosette reads as a single picture. Other panels under a square metre, several in the same black-ground family, are under Small Suzani.
