The green is what sets this panel apart from its neighbours: where the other rosette panels use orange or purple sprigs in the corners, this one has green leaves with pink flowers, which cools the whole piece. The rosette itself is cream with deeply scalloped petals and a pink centre, on a black cotton ground; a red border with a white line runs round the field and a dark patterned band finishes the edge. Landscape rather than portrait — 90 cm high by 110 wide — so it suits a wall above a low piece of furniture.
Silk thread on cotton, hand-embroidered in Uzbekistan. Newly embroidered for Alesouk in the traditional stitches; it arrives clean, even and bright.
