A portrait panel, 80 cm wide by 110 high, with a white rosette in the centre of a black cotton ground and a ring of red and green flowers around it, reaching out to the corners. The border sequence is what distinguishes it in the family: a yellow band first, then red, then a white line, then the dark outer edge — the yellow gives it a warmth the others lack.
Silk thread on cotton, hand-embroidered in Uzbekistan. Newly embroidered for Alesouk in the traditional stitches; it arrives clean, even and bright.
