Unlike the cream-rosette panels around it, this one has a red centre: a roundel of red and pink petals sits inside a cream scalloped ring on the black cotton ground, and the corners are filled with cream scroll shapes and red leaf forms rather than flower sprigs. A yellow inner border, a red band and a brown patterned outer edge complete it. Portrait, 85 × 105 cm.
Silk thread on cotton, hand-embroidered in Uzbekistan. Newly embroidered for Alesouk in the traditional stitches; it arrives clean, even and bright.
