Cobalt scrolls curl around a blush medallion at the centre of the cover. Blue and pink at these strengths usually fight; the cream showing between them is what keeps the peace.

Where it goes
It suits a white, grey or navy sofa, a bedroom chair, or a window seat. See the rest of the lumbar cushion covers, or the square ikat pillow covers in the same cloth.
How this ikat is made
The pattern is tied and dyed into the warp threads before a single row is woven — abrbandi, the cloud-binding. Every soft edge on this cover is the dye finding its way past a tie, which is why no two lumbar covers off the same bolt are identical. The cloth is handwoven in Margilan, in the Fergana Valley; the cover is cut and sewn in our own workshop in Bukhara.
