What is IKAT?

Central Asia’s most prestigious and superb fabric is IKAT. The traditional name of ikat textile is also quite appropriate with ABR. Abr means “cloud” in the Persian language. The Fabric is also known in Arabic as Asab, in Hindi as patola, and in Turkic as Ipekshahi. The dying method ensures ikat is unique. The textures of ikat are also in favour of Abr itself. The best feature of extraordinary ikat textile is the complex dyeing technique which is processed before the individual treads are put upon the loom. Ikat has the utmost aesthetic quality.

We offer high-quality handloom ikat slipcovers for cushions, throw pillows, euro pillows and more at striking prices. To ensure a good fit, the pillow cover will measure about 1/2″ smaller than the pillow insert. Due to the handmade nature of our products, each product may vary slightly in size and exact appearance.
