A cream scrolled medallion sits at the centre of a deep green cloth with small pink marks scattered around it. Green is a two-bath colour, blue laid over yellow, so an even one across a whole warp means both baths held.

Where it goes
It suits a tan leather sofa, a wooden settle, or a chair in a room full of plants. See the rest of the lumbar cushion covers, or the square ikat pillow covers in the same cloth.
How this ikat is made
The pattern is tied and dyed into the warp threads before a single row is woven — abrbandi, the cloud-binding. Every soft edge on this cover is the dye finding its way past a tie, which is why no two lumbar covers off the same bolt are identical. The cloth is handwoven in Margilan, in the Fergana Valley; the cover is cut and sewn in our own workshop in Bukhara.
Availability
This cover is out of stock. The cloth is handwoven in small runs, so it is not always on the shelf — but the design can be woven again. If you would like this one, tell us through the contact page and we will let you know when it can be made and how long the weaving will take.
