Soft green and blue bands alternate along the roll, with peach accents and rows of small blue spots. The colours are muted and natural, close to faded vegetable tones.

How this ikat is made
The pattern is tied and dyed into the warp threads before a single row is woven: abrbandi, the cloud-binding. Every soft edge is the dye finding its way past a tie. The cloth is handwoven in Margilan, in the Fergana Valley; the cover is cut and sewn in our own workshop in Bukhara.
