IS THAT IKAT?! Ikat fabrics are made by a method of tie-dyeing yarn before the fabric is woven. Dyes are traditionally handmade from local plants and minerals. However, some pieces take months, even years, to complete the dyeing process using some natural substances. When the dyed yarns are combined a unique and intricate pattern is created. Uzbek Ikat, is a natural handmade and traditional textile of Uzbekistan. The ornament displays rich vivid multicoloured Uzbek traditional patterns. Various shapes on ikat fabrics are depicted as if blurred clouds are running in the field of the item. All items are made of Cotton ikat fabric Silk İkat Fabric and velvet ikat fabric.
